Finishing a qualification you have part completed
Completing all 10 units of a City & Guilds qualification whilst on a 13 week course
If you are currently attending, a 13 week course and have passed some of the units, you can be assessed for the remaining units and complete the full qualification. You will need to demonstrate to your tutor that you have the theory knowledge and necessary practical skills required.
- Guidelines, research sources, advice, and assessment session with tutor (2-3 hour practical and oral assessment) = £150.00 + vat
Completing all 10 units of a City & Guilds qualification you have studied in the past
If in the past you have passed some, but not all, of the units from one of our City & Guilds qualifications, you can be assessed for the remaining units and complete the full qualification. You will need to demonstrate that you have the theory knowledge and necessary practical skills required.
- Contact us and register for assessment. You will told what the fees are (see below) and asked to pay a deposit.
- We will put you in contact with the relevant course tutor who will advise you
- When you are ready to be assessed we will book your assessment session.
- On the assessment day you will take the theory exam, be asked questions, and be asked to demonstrate practical skills. You will also have your portfolio assessed. You will be given ample time to demonstrate your knowledge and abilities.
- If you pass you will be asked to pay the balance of your fees and told when your certificate will arrive.
- If you still have some elements still to complete your assessment tutor will review your progress and you will be asked to come back for an hour on another day to finish up.

- Registration with City & Guilds £37.50
- Assessment session with tutor (2-3 hr practical and oral assessment) £150.00
- Theory test £60
- Multimedia certificate £42.60
- Sound Engineering & Music Technology certificate £29.30
