Aims of the programme

"eCommerce" is the buying and selling of products and services over the networks (the internet). This can be as simple as using eBay to the complexities of web site design and digital marketing.

This programme provides support, advice and training to help students gain the skills and knowledge that they need to find work, develop their businesses and further their careers.

Someone who has some skills in multimedia and wants to start a small business
Someone who wants to work freelance but has some gaps in their technical knowledge
Someone who has a product or service the want to sell on the internet

Students must be “economically inactive”. This means a student may be working part-time but NOT fully supporting themselves. A student can be registered unemployed but NOT currently on another government funded training programme. Age 18 - 65yrs. Students must be living in a London postal borough.

Programme details

eCommerce 26 weeks Full time (including work placement) or part time (optional work placement).

How do I apply?

If you live in London, are "economically inactive" (not currently earning enough to support yourself) and NOT on New Deal or currently attending a JobCentre training course, you may be able to attend this programme for FREE.
