Aims of the courses

Our live sound reinforcement course teaches people how to rig and operate live PA systems and includes training in operating front of house, monitoring and foldback mixing systems, setting up backline amplification, and project management. Students also carry out sound checks and engineer a concert in a venue with performers.

Who are the courses suitable for?

This course is suitable for a wide range of students from beginners to intermediate who want to work in theatres, live venues and rehersal studios and acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and experience to help them kick start a career in the music industries or to facilitate their own business career objectives.

About the Sound Engineering 2337-01 City & Guilds qualification

Students studying on this courses can take units from our City & Guilds 2337-01 Sound Engineering qualification assessment.

Our qualifications are recognized marks of merit and competence and must be worked for and passed before being awarded. They are not merely certificates of attendance as with some other courses. Success is dependent on motivation and commitment.
