Aims of the programme
This programme teaches essential knowledge for anyone seeking to follow a career in the music & media industries. Students may be seeking to setup a label and release music, or want to find out about current industry working practises and organisations in order to make better job applications.
Whilst on programme students learn fundamental creative, organisational and business concepts and techniques for releasing and promoting music. A student completing this course will be able to project manage an album release, create web ready video and audio, promote to the media, organise a live event, and deal with accompanying financial and legal issues. They will also understand the role of key industry organisations and learn to use them to their advantage.
