Sound Engineering Advanced

Continuing on from the Foundation course this option provides detailed technical background deigned to develop greater theoretical understanding. There is also more tuition in production techniques with the opportunity to use equipment for a range of applications.

Who are the courses suitable for?

Our courses are suitable for a wide range of students from beginners to intermediate who want to acquire sound enginnering and production skills to help them kick start a career in the media and music industries or to facilitate their own business career objectives.

Sound Engineering Foundation

There is no minimum level of experience requirement for entry to this course. We start from the basics so there is a lot of work to get through. Therefore a committed approach is required from the student.

Sound Engineering Advanced

There is a minimum level of experience requirement for entry to this course. Candidates must either have successfully completed the Foundation course or must undertake an aptitude test to establish competence. (Due to its advanced nature this course is run by demand only.)

About the Sound Engineering 2337-01/02 City & Guilds qualifications

Students studying on our courses can take our City & Guilds 2337-01/02 Sound Engineering qualification assessment.

Our qualifications are recognized marks of merit and competence and must be worked for and passed before being awarded. They are not merely certificates of attendance as with some other courses. Success is dependent on motivation and commitment.
