Our specialised qualifications
When we started in 1989 it we quickly found that there were no suitable off-the-shelf qualifications available that could teach the new working practices and technologies, so we wrote our own specialised City & Guilds courses that address the exact needs of students. These qualifications are written in such a way that any new industry working practices and technologies can immediately be taught. They are challenging, require dedication and hard work and equip students with essential knowledge and skills. Read more here

Our multimedia and sound recording teaching and workstation studios are equipped with a range of industry standard digital and analogue audio visual equipment fully representative of the diversity found in the multimedia and music industries.
We are constantly updating to ensure the technologies and methodologies we teach reflect current industry practice. The studios and workstations have been ergonomically setup and arranged to ensure health and safety requirements are properly addressed.

Music production & sound recording equipment
In our sound studios we have split and in-line Mackie, Soundtracs, Yamaha and Soundcraft digital and analogue mixers partnered with both tape (analogue 24-track, ADAT) and digital hard disk (Apple Macs with MOTU interfaces) multitrack systems.
Our Apple Macs are loaded with Logic Pro, Reason, Pro Tools and virtual instrument and effects plug-in software.
