Each apprentice studies a specialised OCR Diploma in Creative and Digital Media Techniques developed by Skillset. This diploma has ben developed in partnership with industry employers and contains essential elements if an apprentice is to meet the required level of competency for employment in the industry.

Finding the right apprentice for you
If you have existing employees, or want to invest in a new apprentices who will receive free
specialist training and skills development in areas that would support your business, you can. For new apprentices, you can recruit your own candidates or we can provide you with selected candidates to interview.

- Ambitious, committed, creative, reliable and keen to succeed
- Aged 18-24
- Available to attend a training day each week
- Neither have a degree or currently be studying towards one
- Employed by you for a minimum of 30 weeks
- They may be new recruits
- They may be existing staff members
Employer requirements
As the employer you will need to ...
- Employ the apprentice on a part or full time basis.
- Most employers pay apprentices between £95 - £160 per week (can be less if shared)
- Help support the training that we provide to ensure that the person becomes a skilled employee
- Provide on the job development for the apprentice
